VICTIMS SUPPORT FUND HANDS OVER WATER SANITATION AND HYGIENE (WASH) FACILITIES TO THREE (3) SCHOOLS IN OYO STATE
Following the successful implementation of the 1st phase and 2nd phase of the VSF Covid-19 emergency intervention, the VSF Taskforce on Covid-19 on (Monday 15sh February, 2021) as part of the 3rd phase, commenced the hand-over of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) projects in Oyo State at Olubadan High School Orita Aperin.
The three schools in Oyo State to benefit from the WASH projects are: Iresadu High School, Iresadu, Olubadan High School Orita Aperin and Irepo Grammar School Igboho.
Each school will receive:
- A solar-powered borehole
- 4 Hand Wash Stations
- 2000 Pcs of Reusable Facemasks
- 5 pieces of 4 Ltr Hand Sanitizers
- 120 Bottles of 500ml Liquid Hand wash
- 5 cartons of bleach
The hand-wash stations have been set up in the schools and the schools have been supplied with liquid hand-wash, sanitizers and bleach.
VSF continues to provide succor to vulnerable Nigerians and as well as institutional support to agencies involved in the fight against Covid-19.
