Victims Support Fund (VSF) launched its scaled up Educational Support Programme, targeting school children in Adamawa, Borno and Yobe State. The Educational Support Programme is explicitly designed to cater for school children who ordinarily do not have access to educational materials and whose education has been hindered due to the insurgency.
A total of over fifty six thousand children have so far benefited from the project in 2015 and 2016. The project has provided school children with text books, exercise books, writing materials, school bags and sandals among other things.
